NON ALCOHOLIC BEER DEMAND IS GROWING AND NOT ONLY IN THE UK

DEMAND FOR NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER IS STEADILY INCREASING DUE TO A GROWING AWARENESS OF HEALTH ISSUES AND CRACKDOWNS ON DRINK DRIVING.

The Non-alcoholic beer is growing in popularity among British drinkers, with 1 in 7 buying a non alc beer in 2014, it is especially popular among the 18-34 age group, where 26% of consumers bought into the category compared to 14% overall.

A recent study found that 59% of Britons would feel comfortable ordering a non-alcoholic beer in front of friends, while half of respondents believed that the booze-free beverages are more socially acceptable than five years ago.

Sales of Non Low ABV beers in the UK reached £55m in 2014 with the Non alcoholic beer sector is set to grow to £300m within 10 years, accounting for 5% UK beer market, it’s not only the UK sales of non-alcoholic beer have surged in Scandinavia, Spain, Japan, USA, Germany and the Middle East in the last 4 years.

According to a new report from market research group Mintel, consumers across europe are giving Non Alcoholic beer a second chance, most notably in countries like Spain, Germany and has become popular in Middle East countries that have strict alcohol Laws.

Non or Low Alcoholic beer is on track to increase in global value by 26% from 2013 to 2018, the largest growth of any sector in the beer industry, according to Euromonitor.

NON Alcoholic craft beers does have to be boring like the mass produced bland options currently on the market, we aim to change that perception by creating a range of NON Alcoholic beers made using the same artisan ingredients that define craft beer here in the UK and Worldwide.

0% and Low ABV beers provide a more session-able option for beer drinkers be it a designated driver or those who want to look after their health and stay in control, whilst still enjoying the qualities of a craft beer.

We are a London-based start up company currently looking to set up shortly a micro-brewery producing a range of Low/Non Alcoholic craft beers. For too long non-alcoholic craft beer has been perceived as a poor cousin to regular beer; dull, tasteless and lacking in variety.

Using the same artisan ingredients that define craft beer and following the same standards of craftsmanship, we aim to change that perception. By creating a brewery offering an option for those opting out of alcohol due to health reasons, those of us who enjoy craft beer and the taste of hops and cannot drink as they are the designated driver, or for those of us who like the ideology surrounding Craft Beer but do not drink alcohol due to our religious faiths.
